Brief Statement of Faith

God: We believe in the one Almighty God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and  Holy Spirit.

Scriptures: We believe that God has revealed himself in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, which we accept as fully inspired of God and preserved today by Him as the Supreme Authority of faith and practice.

Jesus Christ: We believe that God the Father revealed Himself supremely in his Son, The Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that according to Scriptures, Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, was born of a virgin, and is Himself very God. While on earth, He was one person, having two distinct natures, the divine and the human. We further believe that in the biginning God created all things by his son.

Sin: We believe that by Adam, who was the head and progenitor of mankind, the whole human race fell into sin; and as such mankind is at enmity with God, eternally separated from God, and unable to save himself.

Salvation: We believe that salvation is by grace- a free gift of God to all who repent and by faith accept the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ as their personal substitionary sacrifice for sin.

Resurrection of Christ: We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ as the basis of victory over the powers of evil ( Hebrews( 2:14).

Second Coming of Christ: We believe in the imminent, personal and visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Holy Spirit: We believe in the personality of the Holy Spirit who convicts of sin, effects the new birth, indwells every believer, gives guidance in life, empowers for service, and enables spiritual victory over sin.

The Church: We believe in the Church Universal; as consisting of only those who re born again; as a brotherhood of disciplined people obedient to the Word of God; as the Bodyand Bridge of Christ; as evidenced today in local congregations; for which Christ now makes intercession in heaven and for which He will soon come again.

Satan: We believe in the reality and personality of Satan, the enemy of God and the destroyer of man.

The Commission of Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ commissioned the Church to go into all the world, preaching the gospel, making disciples of all who believe, and ministering to every human need.

The Resurrection of the Dead: We believe that the final bodily resurrection of all the dead-those that ate saved into eternal life, and those that are lost into eternal damnation in the Lake of Fire.
